Please bring a saucer with dirt in it. OCTOBER 28, 2024 (8am Registration, 9am Meeting Starts) - Hosting District X Meeting at Santa Lucia River Club at Ballantrae NOVEMBER 25, 2024 1:00 PM - Business Meeting 2:00 PM - Hospitality 2:30 PM - Program/Workshop - Bonnie Boaz will be speaking on and demonstrating how to propagate holiday cactus plants. You will need to bring a very small jar or container (about 2 inches across & deep) and a small bag of dirt. You may want to bring something to take it home in, as well. DECEMBER 10, 2024 (Tuesday) Bus Trip to "ICE", Kissimmee, FL. More info to follow. JANUARY 17, 2025 (Friday) ARBOR DAY tree planting at 11am at Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. Rio Lindo members will be providing light refreshments and will be taking photos of the event for our website. JANUARY 27, 2025 1:00 PM - Program - Landscape Design, Speaker TBA. 2:00PM - Hospitality, Tailgating 2:30 PM - Business Meeting 3:15PM - Workshop - Potato Jewelry, Part 1, You need to bring a small cutting board, a medium to large size white potato, a paring knife (and a potato peeler, optional). Bonnie B. will be instructing. FEBRUARY 24, 2025 1:00PM - Program - Desert Roses with Joleen King 2:00PM - Hospitality 2:30PM - Business Meeting 3:15PM - Workshop - Potato Jewelry, Part 2 - You need to bring your dried PAINTED potatoes still on the wire to the meeting, along with any extra beads you want to use, enough for earrings, bracelet and necklace. You will need to bring scissors, a paper plate and a pair of small needle-nosed pliers. Everything else will be provided to you. Please bring 4 inch terra cotta pot, 6 inch terra cotta saucer, acrylic paint and paint brush. APRIL 28, 2025 11:30PM - Spring Installation Luncheon (Installation of 2025-27 new officers by Rosita Aristoff) Location - Carabba's Italian Grill, 1900 SW Fountainview Blvd., (St. Lucie West) PSL, 34986. Lunch will be choice of soup/salad, one of four entrees, canoli, choice of non-alcoholic drink (If you would like alcohol, you will be billed separately.).
